The world has relied on fossil fuels for a long time. Fossil fuels are used to heat our homes, gas our cars, and provide electricity. We are starting to see the consequences of habitual fossil fuel use. Resources are becoming depleted and slowly our planet is dying.
The world population has grown, industrialization has advanced and our energy needs have also exploded in tandem. To be sure, our way of life has changed for the better overall but a re-assessment of the current fuel scenario as compared to that in the old days is in order. As much as we are used to and being comfortable with oil, coal and gas, we would be well-served to be sounding out alternative fuel sources of the earth for energy.
